Nnintendo will announce it to be released end of 2009 but then it will be pushed to mid 2010. That sounds about right. 3 years + a 6 month delay. Thats how the Zelda team roll.

I don't think anyone expected it to be released this year. Many, like myself, just wanted something like an official announcement or like a teaser trailer or something. I think this year would have been realistic timing. Wind Waker was released in '03 and we saw the first twilight princess trailer in '04. It took TP a while to come out, just as I expect the next zelda to take a while. I'm just curious to see the direction they're taking the series for the next game.
