Predictions for Next Zelda

First of all, I definetely think that the next Zelda game will feature WiiMotionPlus. It would be plain stupid to not do it. Miyamoto did say that he wanted to change the Zelda series, but not too drastically. This would mean all of the traditional horizantal and vertical slices would be removed, and 1:1 control can take over. The jump attack would still remain, as well as some sort of blocking via sword and shield. Also, I think Nintendo REALLY has to utilize its online service more. Here are my ideas for an online game as well as an advernture:Team BattleTwo teams Bulbins vs. Links (customization, different color costumes, masks, miis, etc.)Battles would take place in classic Zelda levels, including Hyrule field. 1:1 sword movement would allow players to block the other attacks and slay his enemy. There would also be classes:On FootArcher (Fire, Ice, Light)HorsemanBomb CarrierTeam LeaderTwo teams, 1 Leader on each team. The leader is Zelda and Ganondorf, both on horses. Rest of the team fight on foot to eliminate the team leader. Zelda would have light arrows, Ganandorf would have some sort of giant sword. EscortTwo teams. One team defends a carriage carried with some Hyrule civilians on horses. The other (Bulbins) attack it with fire arrows and on those hogs. If the carriage is on fire, the defending team must put it out with the gale boomerang, and attack with swords. If the carriage makes it to Hyrule castle, the defenders win, if the attackers set the carriage ablaze, the attackers win. DuelsThis is a two-player game type, similar to wii sports resort duel. Classic one-on-one fighting. Now, if Nintendo REALLY wanted to dedicate themselves, they could add a co-op mode for the main story mode and feature DLC for new levels, like ones from past games. What do you guys think? Would this all be better in First-person mode or Third-person? I doubt this will ever happen, but I'm just using my imagination because Nintendo can't do anything else lately... Predictions for Next Zelda
Where's the adventure part?Predictions for Next Zelda
Personally, I don't think online-multiplayer is the way to go in the next Zelda, unless it is a Four Swords sequel or something like that. Zelda is an epic, solo quest, and should remain as such. Otherewise, it doesn't feel quite so, well, epic.Wii Motion Plus might be a nice gimmick, but I can't see 1:1 sword control being the main advancement in the game. If it's just like Twilight Princess except with precise sword control, then that's all it is: Twilight Princess with precise sword control. The series needs to bust out of its formula again, similar to Majora's Mask (although I never had the opportunity to play it). Either that, or a very different Hyrule than the one in TP. I'd prefer a Lord of the Rings style Hyrule, with actual population, and the bad guys doing bad things. When was the last time we actually saw Ganon do something really bad to the people of Hyrule besides this doom-and-gloom, release-the-monsters idiocy? Hell, we don't even need Ganon. TP didn't; Zant was fine until he went all cheesy at the end of the Palace of Twilight. So, Zelda needs to move forward in setting and themes, not necessarily in gameplay or mulitplayer.
I think all your ideas are excellent. Too good to happen actually. But I think Nintendo will think of something awesome, if they hold to their promise of revamping the Zelda formula. But I dont think online will be part of that formula.
Here's what I want:-The same 'Dark' feel like Twilight Princess. -Zelda falls in love with Link.-Ganondorf kills Zelda.-Link seeks Revenge.-The Hylians, Gorons, and Zoras declare War against Ganondorf and his army.-Final Battle: Ganondorf gets pissed and turn to Ganon, mowing down any Goron, Zora or Hylian that gets in his way. Everyone flees, leaving you and Ganon in Hyrule Field. -Link gets his Revenge -Wii MotionPlus-Voice acting for everyone EXCEPT Link.-Unlockable online play after the war (Due to Spoilers) ...Too bad it will never happen.
I would also like free-for-all deathmatch mode with 500 players in hyrule field going on all day long, when you die you just respawn and continue fighting, the match never ends.
