Why doesn't nintendo release games like ...

Nintendo wants to appeal to the casual audience now, but they must keep the hardcore happy. The perfect example of games that achieve both are games like Mother/Earthbound. If you have played it, you would know that everything about the game works for both audiences. The story is deep enough for any hardcore player to appreciate, but still humorous and entertaining enough for casuals and children. The combat can be simple enough for my grandma to win battles but they can be complex and strategic for hardcore RPG fans. The exploration is story driven enough for anybody to be able to make it to the end but the world is open-ended and large enough for hardcores to search for hidden secrets for a long time. I can go on about how great Mother/Earthbound for a long time but how come nintendo doesn't make games like earthbound? I don't want to have over-casualized experiences such as Wii music and i dont want my hardcore franchises simplified for the new audience like Zelda:Twilight Princess.
