Note: do not bring up comparisons to the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, as this is not the System Wars forum. Some denizens on this forum often seem to forget about this, as this is a console-specific forum. To the ''core'' Nintendo gamers who are ''disappointed'' with E3 and Nintendo's focus on ''casual'' games:Since many (not all) of you so-called ''core'' gamers disliked what Nintendo is heading (which is discussed too many times), then why instead of fruitlessly complaining about this, you can simply play games or support Nintendo's rival platforms? Nintendo is in no obligation to support your niche concerns, and you are not forced nor obligated to support the company. Why not simply stop supporting Nintendo and go support its rivals? I said the exact same thing. If you're disappointed with Nintendo, buy a PS3 or an Xbox. I bought a PS3 and actually appreciate my Wii so much more. I spend less time whining about why the Wii won't get games like RE5 and GTA4, and more time appreciating the exclusives and alternative form of gameplay the Wii offers. If you disliked Nintendo's direction, wh ...
Because people are dumb.
Dumb people will never understand the concept.
Because not everyone is made of money and Nintendo tricked them into buying the console ??
I'm not selling my Wii or anything, but I do plan to get a PS3. I was really only disappointed about how Ninty didn't announce any major new games and show footage. I'm psyched for Animal Crossing and Wii Sports: Resort looks pretty fun too. I'm a little skeptical about Wii Music though. I also thought that the DS's lineup is looking superb so I have no complaints there.
I already have a 360, and I can say there is much more I want for that console than Nintendo. I still have every right to be disappointed and to complain on the direction Nintendo took at E3. I understand and encourage the incorporation of casual games to broaden and expand the market. At the same time, Nintendo has put nothing on the upcoming calender that is ''core''
Nintendo tricked them into buying the console ??
How did Nintendo trick anyone into buying the Wii?
I only bought the wii for Starfox, brawl and mario kart wii and SOME zelda and mario titles(and maybe metriod)..thats mainly it not for wii fit wii sports, none of that wii mess!I might get a ps3...Because of warhawk :D lol
if money grew on trees people would have a new gaming pc, 360, ps3, and wii. even then there would still be complaining about nintendo. you are essentially just complaining about complainers that will never disappear.
Because not everyone is made of money and Nintendo tricked them into buying the console ??
why would u buy something because it is the cheapest anyway u have to go for quality ( Im not saying Nintendo doesnt have quality) ppl that dont like nintendo should just suck it up and buy another console even though its more money
Because I'm not going to let one E3 conference prevent me from wanting to buy Wii games in the future. Seriously...whoever's disappointed about the lack of ''hardcore'' games should get over it and try out different games that are coming out and games that you haven't played in the past. That's what I plan on doing8).
I got a Wii for Mario, Zelda, and whatever else good that would come from the console. I got a 360 for everything else. Your really cheating yourself if all you own is a Wii.
#1 becasue not every one can afford a secound console #2 maby because thay want to see things get better for them on the platform thay own #3to say core games is a niche is not correct. GOOD core games sell extreemly well.#4 no nintendo is not obligated to do any thing. but that does not mean we core gamers or gamers who want to other types of games on the wii cant or should not complain. Thats how things get changed. let your voice be heard. if you dont like it to bad. I do own a competitors system. but that does not mean i dont want to see games that I like on my Wii. if you happy with the way things are good for you. but i will not lay down quitly while the company I have supported and loved sense the NES take things in a direction i dont want to see it go. Will me alone complaining change things no. but I will do so any way. and if enough people feel the same way and keep complaining things may change. Now im not going to get into some silly debate with you. if you dont like to here me and others complain then to bad. go play your casual games. no big deal.
