Some hours ago i made a topic saying good bye to nintendo and after some thinking i decided that that would been stupid. I mean ive always owned a nintendo system throught ruff times. Anyways i love my wii to much to sell and i appriciate what nintendo have given me since 2006.. games like mario kart wii, mario galaxy, twilight princess, metroid prime 3 and super smash bros brawl are superb games and i dont think any other system has 5 so terrific games like that, and its only been 1.5 year. I was of course upset with the e3 conferance, but i decided to have faith in nintendo cause they always delivers, it may take som time but when they finally deliver they do it big time!not selling my wii
Jeah the rest of the year might be a bit crappy but there will be more good games eventuallynot selling my wii
and what did we learn? I'll give you a hint: it starts with a ''not'' and ends with a ''to throw a hissy fit''.
and for sum reason no new games has made everyone forget all the good old games
Not to mention all the great games already announced for the rest of this year and early next.
I never did understand why a bad press conference is proof that Nintendo has absolutely zero things to offer the Wii for the rest of its existence.
Might have to disagree on the ''other consoles dont have 5 superb games''360: Halo 3, Gears of War, COD4, GTA IV, Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Orange Box, Forza, Bioshock, the whole damn Tom Clancy Franchise, should I go on?

Brawl, mario kart and galaxy are already out. Besides i'd keep it for Wii sports alone. maybe if you were REALLY desperate for cash or accidentally bought it not knowing you hate nintendo you would sell it, other wise no sense.
So you've gone beyond the sight of a fanboy and see clearly now. Just because E3 sucked doesn't mean that the Wii is doomed. I still have more games coming out than I can afford. I just hope Tales of Symphonia hurries up *shakesfist*

In my my opinion N64 was a failure, and the GameCube was a failure. While they did have a handful of memorable titles, those were mostly first party titles that are guaranteed to be good. The only thing that nintendo is good at right now is the delivering awesome titles on the handheld market. The DS is awesome. The wii on the other hand isn't so good. I have one and I never play it. I have five games for it, and the games that I have are the only ones I feel make the system good. I think if Nintendo wants to do well, they should create some fresh new first party franchises, or get better third party support. Until then, Nintendo has seriously let me down with the Wii. They seriously need to ditch this casual gaming crap and make real games for gamers.
^^hey brokenfetus, I happened to love my gamecube and all the games i own/owned so while it may have had crap sales, it didn't fail me, and isn't that what matters? That even if the system you own ''fails'' in the markets, if you enjoyed it, did it really fail?

I personally have just been let down by nintendo ever since the SNES died. I feel that it was the best nintendo console ever. I've had every nitendo system since SNES, and it's the one that continually wowed me over and over when I had it.
i agree with some new first party franchises because the old ones have all been letdowns on the wii
Some hours ago i made a topic saying good bye to nintendo
And why exactly didn't you post this in the thread you mentioned?
well to be honest I'm to young to have owned a NES/SNES but I know there was some really great games on there, so it's a possibilty I probably would've been disappointed too.
Nintendo is still on the top, and after this fiasco, we will learn to appriciate the wii more.
I really share the original posters regrets at lashing out at Nintendo, well it was actually EA but I blame Nintendo. I really slammed NCAA 2009 All Play, and the game really does suck. However, it is my own damn fault for buying it. I should have known better to buy that game. I should have known I would be disappointed. As much as I wanted to be the ''hardcore'' gamer (whatever that is), I own the Wii. Which generally means I spend a couple of hours every other day playing video games after my kid goes to bed. EA knows this so they developed a game for people like me. Like it or not that is what the Wii is. These gaming sites for the most part hammer Nintendo. They call most third party stuff shovelware, and generally, lay waste to most things that are coming out on the biggest selling home console in the world.I really think the reason for all of this is simple. The Wii is not designed for them. They have a tough time adjusting to this reality. Why? They play video games for a living. The truth is...this is a two tier video game world we live in now. There are the few hours a week people like me, and there are the live, breathe, die, people, and the quicker everyone realizes this (including Sony and Microsoft), we will all be better off.
Too many people focus squarely on Nintendo's first party games and get their hopes let down. What they fail to see is the great third party titles coming out. Also for those of you crying about ''Nintendo failed us'' or some other bull-crap, why don't you expand your view and look at all the other excellent titles displayed on all platforms at E3 this year. Theres more games in this world then Zelda, Mario and kidicurus or w/e that crappy SNES game with Pit was called.
