okay a lot of people are saying the conduit is pushing the wii's graphics and it's one of the first 3rd party games to kick it in gear. To that I call BS! There is a much better looking game coming to the wii and it's 3rd party. Deadly Creatures. Of course we really don't know how good the controls will be, same thing could be said for Conduit. But it looks a hell of a lot better than High voltage's tech demo and there little game. It's not just High voltage that is trying. So stop gving them credit saying they're the only ones trying.Conduits graphics *flushes toilet*
Ah, your sig is awesome.Conduits graphics *flushes toilet*
i think when conduits is 100% done it will be the best looking wii game til something else.
Besides Nintendo, most developers haven't pushed the Wii graphically. Ubisoft has some good Wii games, but none of them were technically brilliant (No More Heroes, Rayman), Capcom's games haven't either favoring more artsy games (Okami, Z%26W) and I could go on.But there's no use crying over it since those games are great despite not being as crisp and detailed as many Nintendo games.
I'd bet all my money I own to my name that the Conduit could have been played on the Xbox or the PS2. It doesn't look that great. If it has good gameplay, I'll get it. Graphics don't make a game awesome (Lair). Gameplay is what makes games awesome, graphics just help.
non the less, pirates for wii has awesome graphics

did the Conduit get a publisher yet? It doesn't matter how good they make it if there's no publisher. I'm rooting for them, but as far as I'm concerned...it's it in the same boat as Sadness for the moment.
Nope and until then I don't see why people should bother hyping it, cause like you said its in the same boat as Sadness.

i think matt metioned in his blog that several publishers have approached high voltage games since IGN ran that article. So no nothing official but closer than it was.
The graphics hardly look better than PS2 quality, I don't see why people are gushing over this so much, especially with such an unproven developer. But I guess this is what happens when Gears of War, Halo, and CoD4 aren't released on the Wii.
It makes me laugh at how people are smashing this game up over a demo video. It seems to me that they were just showing some small bits of their capabilities using their engine which uses quite few resources. I got the impression that they were just showing the resource saving capabilities of their engine which would make way for the use of better graphics in the future without wasting the resources of the Wii.

Deadly Creature will be great. I'm buying it. Conduit will be the prettiest game on the Wii. No questionAlso do not forget; the hype for High Voltage's tech is more than visual. It's also their pushing of AI and physics. Something Deadly creatures will not be doing.Factor 5 is also working on techy Wii software. Again nither Deadly Creatures of Factor 5 are doing the complete package like High Voltage. That's just the way it is bro.
I hope they can pull for it.it def looks better than a PS2 game lol @ whoever said that, but it still has time to get some work done to it as well. Any screen pics I've ever saw for anything other than the PS360 all look like crap because they aren't capable of smooth edges like the other two (jaggies), and they always look better in motion. The Conduit seems to be in good shape so far from the screens I've seen.again, I wanna see a PUBLISHER!!!!

That's just the way it is bro.[/QUOTE]Let's break this apart.A) Deadly Creatures is from a decent dev, with only modest hands on reports. There are no real indications that it will be great.B) You're kidding right? Right now it looks terrible. ''Bu-but the tech demo!'' Tech demos are tech demos, they only prove that they can render a set amount of objects in a small room. No AI, no large open worlds, no characters running around the screen, just nonmoving objects sitting in a room.C) Their is absolutely nothing to suggest HV is pushing physics/AI, especially looking at how little they are pushing graphics.D) What is the ''complete package?'' All I hear is hype from an unproven developer making a Wii game that looks generic and sub-par at this point in time. At least Factor 5 has a track record in making excellent games, even if they bombed some of their overhyped efforts (I'm looking at you, LAIR).
