Why not? It's not like all games are announced at E3. I don't like Kid Icarus though and don't understand where that strange hype came from.

Even if Matt Casssawhatever was lying, the hype and anticipation for the rumored Kid Icarus game makes me rather sure that it'll happen. But who knows, Pokemon Snap sold over 2 million copies and got no sequel and Punch-Out!! inexplicably died, so I wouldn't say it's a 100% lock that this game will happen.

Nothing has been announced. It's even less a possibility than Kid Icarus.

At first I was disappointed that Nintendo seems to be making a remake of this game, which was never very popular to begin with, but now I have a different attitude. As long as this game isn't simply retro fan-service, and as long as it has an improved story and a some good music (as the original did) , I'll give it a chance.
On G4 Reggie said when they asked about Kid Icarus Reggie said we never said anything about Kid Icarus so you shouldn't of been thinking about it.
