Is it possible to get just the Wii?

I have decided to return my gow psp and put in some extra cash and get a wii. I am well aware of the high demand for the wii and how its sold out everywhere. BUt when I do find a wii, it is always a bundle with other games. I just want a started set for $249.99 and get extras later. If so, has there been any news on when the supply of the Wii will meet the demand? Is it possible to get just the Wii?

well i think the best thing to do is find out when they are being shipped, I suggest target. If you really want one maybe ebay?
Yes, you can just get the Wii if you want. Some stores do try to make you buy bundles though.

Target usually has them Sunday morning. And don't underestimate GameKrazy (part of Hollywood video) everytime I go in there and check they have them in stock. Last week the guy told me he was sitting on 9 of them because people just don't think to go there. Also at the same Gamekrazy and at Gamestop I've seen used Wiis for 229. Neither comes with Wiisports but that might not be a deal breaker for everyone. And don't forget good ol craigslist.org. They'll definitely have sellers in your area. Just bring cash and meet them somewhere safe and well lit like a Starbucks.
Yes, however if it were bundled with something really good (Super Mario Galaxy), then it would probably be smarter to buy the bundle.
