Star Fox Adventures was outstanding, even though it wasn't a traditional Star Fox game. And there have been some great DK games on handhelds.
Neither franchise is beyond saving. Nintendo just needs to develop them internally again, like before.Is the starfox slowly dying with DK?

They arent going to die. It might just take awhile for us to see a game since nintendo is so busy.

If Nintendo doesn't start making some good games with them then yes, they are dying. You might as well add Kirby to that list too.
Nintendo is too relient on 1st party games to let franchises just ''die.'' Starfox came out on the DS, and will eventually come out on the Wii. As far as DK, we haven't seen a DK game developed by Nintendo in over a decade I think. I would love to see that franchise reemerge. We know they are still being focused on, however, as several characters form each were in Brawl.

There was a Star Fox game released less then 2 years ago.
Theres still some hope that Starfox will come again.For DK;;; I don't think its going to do so well. :(
Star Fox can't die. Cammy could have done all the weird and crazy crap she wanted for 2 hours but if she then unleashed a new Star Fox is would have been worth it.....but I digress.

I think starfox still stands a chance but i think we will see donkey kong relegated to littl emore than party games and such... it start with teh GC and i fear will only get worse. Starfox might flip things around, who knows. I wouldnt be surprised if they are tracking how often fox is used in Brawl to determine a possible drop or jump in his popularity.
ya fact that they put three fox characters into brawl, inclusion of wolf, means Nintendo hasn't forgotten bout Starfox
No it is not dying.
Let's analyze this: one on SNES, one on N64, then the series started to decline with SF: Adventures / SF: Assault on GC, and we have a Star Fox on DS. In addition there's the possibility of Star Fox coming to Wii. It won't happen soon, but it may happen. No, Star Fox is not dying like DK.

Before that it was essentially DK for the Game Boy in 1994. Everything else has either been second party or Namco.The only bad Star Fox game I can think of was Adventures, and even then it was still a fine game, it just wasn't Star Fox, it was a Zelda clone from Rare. If we can get another title like an improved Assault, I'll be happy.
I want more StarFox. (I was so expecting it to be announced at E3)I, personally, hated Starfox Adventures. It had some good parts but stole too much from OOT....and it did not even do that right. I am afraid it may have killed the series. (it was not evenoriginallya starfox game!)I think we will see a starfox wii though...eventually....
no dk title well thats wierd, i remember 3 on gc and 2 on wii and if im not mistaken 1 on ds, lol as for star fox, why is fox in ssbb and has 2 gc and 1 n64 title 1 snes and recently 1 ds title, seams to me your all impatient , donkey kong is not and will never die nor will kirby or sfkirby takes a while also isnt ther one coming to ds i remember there being a snes revamp coming to ds , so nope not dead as for stunt race, wave race these are questionable, also you definatelly cant add fzero to list because that should come soon , after mario sluggers at the earleist and after wii music if latest
