This has been talked about millions of times. Nintendo doesn't think it's a problem because according to them, ''It's only a small fraction of users''.I've pretty much given up on the possibility of a hard drive but the fact that they don't let us read directly from SD cards isn't acceptible. It shows they could care less about their most devoted fans. Also, I'm pretty sure you can fill all the channels if you only download NES games.More memory?

It's a bit of a standard company response. Afterall, they are not going to say straight out, ''No, we'll never fix the storage problem that we created.''But ''looking into it'' and actually doing it are two different things. I just hope they are serious this time. All they'd have to do is open up that SD slot with a software upgrade.
well for what its worth i remember reading/hearing that the next GH for Wii will be able to stream off songs off your SD card...:)

The fact that Nintendo hasn't done the transfer feature for the SD card, shows how much trust they have in the people they sell there products to.

yea im annoyed too really got only 300 blocks left with the following, News,Weather,Shop,Nintendo Channel,Mii Channel,Check Mii out,Voting thing,Phoyto channel,MK channel,Internet,Zelda OOT,SM64,Pokemon ranch,FF CC wii ware one.Seems like alot but to me really its not much and it takes 1 page and one row and my memory is nearly maxxed sucks really cant belive this could have given us 1gb instead of 512mb wasnt much mroe when wii came out in 2006.
well the company line is that you're supposed to be erasing games that you're not immediately playing. You can download them again for free whenever you want to. It's kind of a lame excuse, and nintendo should just give us more memory, but the advice I would give to your friend is to do what nintendo says and erase some games he doesn't play as much anymore and just download them again if he wants to play them again. I know, it sucks
Nindendo may be afraid that people might copy some Wiiware/VC games to other consoles, ultimately losing them money. However,
you cant get VC games or wii ware games onto other consoles from SD cards but you can already get it back onto your own wii.
No, but it makes piracy easier. I'm pretty sure that's why Nintendo restricted SD card usage in the first place.
i actually put alot of my VC games on my SD and i just copy them to the wii memory when i want to play them it takes awhile but it works
