Never researched this game yet. Never a fan of bulky kids running around in a virtual world. But Im thinking of trying it out, and since it has voice chat, ugh... could be fun, i guess.SO does anyone know if it can be played without FC?
I have no problems with FC. The only problem I have is Wii Speak: would you guys get angry and delete a friend from a list if that friend would swear in-game?

Yes, it's probably FC only, but why on Earth would you want to invite random people you don't know to your town, anyway?

Let's hope it follows the DS version scheme of being able to add friends of friends on the spot. Just click add, and tell the person to add you and you're done. If they change that then they're stupid. :P

It would ahve been sweet to somehow meet new people and make friends. AC has SOO many cool ideas but it falls short with stupid decisions by Nintendo.You can use your DS to transport characters but they wont let a friend who as AC DS to visit and become your friend. Thats total waste of huge potential.AS mention you can only interact with people you know and only four at a time and if that connection is lost by one person all are lost. Total BS on their part to dampen the experience on a game that still is good.They visual art is nice and creative but you would have thought they made a new engine after going through three systens worth of games.Why arent things like fishing and bug catching improved. FIshing with the Wiimote was fun in Zelda it could be even better here.VC and Wiiware games cant be played on your AC TV think about letting your friends in on the games andplaying and watching together. That COULD have been huge.The Weather Channel is not used and its absolutely perfect but they dont want it for extreme weather conditions and as everyone is saying why dont they have the option to turn it off ANd the list goes with awsome ideas filled with ''WTF'' decisions. The game will be good but like Mario Kart Wii you come out with total agggravation as you watchpotential fall through the drain.
