Everyone's complaining about casual game ...

I speak of course, about this gameFinal Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon, one of the hardest of the hardcore games to come out on the Wii. You ask why i'm not excited about this game. look at the box art... that is why i'm not even remotely excited about this game.

When people are complaining (specifically about E3) they are usually referring to first party titles. There are actually quite a few third party titles to get excited about it.

Any and all doubts about this game went out the window when I hear the remix to FFVII's chocobo ranch.I mean, seing h.a.n.d. was a good first sign, then the FFVIII music during the second boss battle, but yeah....they really got me hook, line, and chocobo.

And you all wonder why things are in the state they are. I mean, I don't really care one way or another, I'm pretty content with Nintendo and such. But here's a quality game, specifically designed for core gamers, and people are dismissing it just by looking at the box art.Hell I even put in some quotes if you're too lazy to look at the reviews.But it's okay, all the more Chocobo for me!

I'm always glad to play games that feature me. ;)But seriously, you raise a good point. I've said on numerous occasions that people seem to be completely ignoring third-party games when talking about the Wii as a whole. This seems rather strange, as last year many were complaining that Nintendo was too dominant in the software market and they wanted Nintendo to start taking more of a backseat to third-party games.

These are the types of people who think they are ''hardcore''.
Although this game may be a good one, to call it a ''hardcore game'' would be silly. This is a really good ''my first dungeon crawler'' game.I like candy, but sometimes things may be too sweet just like I like some cute things (like puppies and kittens), but I don't want to be immersed in cuteness like this game. :)
I never liked Finaly Fantasy so i dont care.

If you walk into this game unintiated and expect a pleasant walk through the park, it will eat you alive. This is the same as people who called Zack %26 Wiki a ''kiddy game''. Give it to a 10-year-old and see what happens. I guarantee it will not be enjoyment. :PHardcore does not necessitate blood and guts.
