MOHH2 online help

Sorry this has come up before but I bought MOHH2 for Wii recently, thought I'd give an FPS a go, usually I play all sport games; tennis, football, golf. So I played it and quite enjoyed it, thought I'd give online a shot, I got into the lobby and clicked on a game, it said loading then brought up a message box saying that it was disconnected. I've seen other ppl have had the same problem but with different router's (mine's a speedtouch) how can I sort/fix this problem, any help is much appreciated? This is my first post on here and one of the first places I've asked for help, I have emailed EA but they haven't as yet got back to me.MOHH2 online help

any help? anyone had the same problem with a different router?
I am using a lynksys router and have the same problem. Sorry to say though that I don't know how to fix it. Usually for me it will work after like 5-10 minutes of trying to connect to different games.
are connected via wireless or wired?
Wireless, speedtouch router.
ok Did you manually set up the Wii' Wifi connection or just, scanned for the signaled and automaticlly set it up?
scanned for it and automatically just picked it up
Ok use this guide, this will imprive your in game connection and then change the the channel to 1 or 11
Okay I'll try that 2moro morning, read through it and at no point does it tell me how to change the channel 1 or 11, how do I go about that then?Thanks for your help.
i dont have that router but try logging into your router and look around the wireless and look for channel and change it there
It seems that 1 or 11 is about signal strength, apologies if it's not but my Wii is less than 2m away from my wireless and has a full bar for connection strength and so do the blue bars in the lobby of the game. Btw I can play Fifa 08 (EA game) online.
Looking around it seems like I have to turn the upnp off - how do I go about that then?
Then maybe try calling or emailing Ea about this. I had Mohh2 and it worked flawlessly
Awaiting an email from EA, I'll follow it up until I get what I need. Online sounds good, can't wait until I'm playing on it.
I got online this morning, it was just a matter of turning of the upnp, did this via the internet, finding my home page for my thomson speedtouch. The online play is awesome, I'm pretty crap at it, only had the game 2 days tho, getting better, quite good at capture the flag. Thanks for all your help, much appreciated.

Very much agree with you. I have realised how pants I actually am so I'll get back to some arcade and campaigning then get back online. In 2 days I've managed to rack up 245 deaths and only 52 kills, however I am getting better, my first game was 3-3, then by the end of day 1, was 9-103. There's alot of improvement to be made.
