I may be goin out on a limb here, but I just want to stir up some talk on the forums. Do you think Capcom is giving us Dead Rising because they are not giving us Resident Evil 5? If so, do you think it is a worthy trade? If not, then do you think Dead Rising will be good anyway? Is Dead Rising a replacement for Residen ...

Maybe Resident Evil 5 wii will come after the 360/PS3 versions are released so they can port it later just like Dead Rising.
I would assume so, maybe they just want to rehype the game for a sequel. Maybe they just want $$$
Its a 360 port which we got me wondering how is it gona look, but i'll go look into dead rsing info atm wanna see if its interesting
Is it fair? Umm, no. A stae of the art Resident Evil game with explosive visuals, gameplay, and finally online co-op versus a watered down port of a two year old game, is that a fair trade? There are already screenshots in this Famitsu scans floating around. If you look close enough you'll see the textures have been watered down, the number of zombies on screen has been watered down, and waggle has been put in place for whenever a zombie grabs you.Why does Capcom continue to treat the Wii like a recycle box, when are they going to give the Wii owners a new, AAA big budget game? God knows they deserve it after buying tons of their Resident Evil games.
No, it's a replacement for Dead Rising on the 360.That's all it is.

I'm actually happier to get Dead Rising than RE5 after watching the latest Resi footage. I've always wanted Dead Rising, it was one of the only 360 games I played at my friends that made me think ''Wow, I wish I had a 360 for this!''. RE5 on the other hand looks like a clone of Resi 4, with bad AI, enemies with guns (WTF?!) and co-op pushed in where it isn't needed (the enemies are like simpletons, 1 of you could pick them all off in seconds...)
I guess Dead Rising was the big surprise announcement for Nintendo. I wanted RE5... but whatever.
i think it absolutely blows that we're not getting RE5. I'm glad we're getting Dead Rising, but, *shrugs* it just isn't the same. Capcom is hurting my heart a little...a lot actually. We deserve both, buddy.

Well like how we're just getting Dead Rising, which was a 360 title, then Capcom must know that Wii can pull great graphics. Now if they can increase the save points, decrease the load times, keep the amount of zombies on screen high without compromising graphical quality then this title will be definitely worth it for people who have already played the game as well as people who didn't. I think I'll still give the game a go since I've never played it.
screens dont tell you nothing in terms of graphics, or stuff on screen lol , only vids or actual gameplay does and i could care less either way it was fun

The wii just doesnt have the processing power, you should know that by now. Thats why I have a wii and ps3....best of both worlds.

This is capcom. They like to remake games. Dead Rising coming to the wii was unexpected though but if they can bring this game over to wii, the game everyone has been wanting on the wii (RE5) should be coming to the wii. Not saying it is but if this game can come over other games capcom released on ps3/360 might come over.
if they are gonna add something new maybe ,anyway iam mad at capcom becuz thats not what i was waiting for i was waiting for monster hunter 3
