So I'm thinking of getting a Wii....

Should I do it? I'm kinda sick of Xbox live, all of the people, and I just wanted another console to have some fun on. It's funny some guy made fun of me on XBL and said ''go play your Wii''. So then I thought maybe I should buy one. I will be giving up a lot of games that I want, like Fallout 3, PoP, and Unreal Tournament but I really want one. Should I get it? So I'm thinking of getting a Wii....
It's up to you. The Wii's got a lot of great games. They may not necessarily be your style so be warned that you may not like any of the good games. So I'm thinking of getting a Wii....
look at the recommendation thread and see if you like the games
I like the wii there are a lot of good games out and coming out, but fall out 3 looks great, in the long run its all up to you the wii isn't for everyone
I think you should get one, It has a variety of games that appeal to everyone, I reccomend you get SSBB, Galaxy, Corruption, Mario Kart Wii, No More Heroes, Okami (If you never played it on PS2) and RE4 (If you never played it on the GC) and lets say if you kind'a want some casual party games, I suggest Mario Party 8 or WarioWare Smooth Moves, or maybe Raving Rabbids I hear it's good. Don't listen to the people who think the Wii is a failure, because they haven't even played all the Wii has to offer.
Yes, you should get it, but first look at the best games like super smash bros brawl and mario kart wii and others and think if you wouild like them or not.
oh ya and actually communicating with them with a speaker while playing, I KNOW SO FUTURISTIC!!! seriously there is no excuse for not having voice communication. -_-
Watch Nintendo E3 much? I introduce Wii Speak !!! It allows on-line voice communication on Wii. It will comeout with Animal Crossing Wii this year. and OK, it still doesn't make the wii's on-line much better and OK, it's not out yet. It plugs into the USB on the back of the Wii and sits atop the motion senser bar.
If you have the extra money and the current lineup interests you, go for it. Especially if you have the 360 to play more standard games. But for me, if I didn't already have a Wii, I wouldn't buy it. I'd wait.
i think u should buy one, they're great. thats just my opinion but, are u selling ur 360 for it? (that's what i thought at first)I dunno then...
your going to get one, beat all the good games (7 - 10) and then your going to be like ''no what?''
Thats the only part of your post I feel like responding too. 7-10 games is all you could find on the Wii? I dunno, but I found a ton more.
 • Fire Emblem:Radiant Dawn
 • Battalion Wars 2
 • Trauma Center:Second Opinion
 • Trauma Center:New Blood
 • Super Mario Galaxy
 • Super Smash Bros.
 • Zack and Wiki
 • Okami
 • No More Heroes
 • Metroid Prime 3
 • Medal of Honor: Heroes 2
 • Mario Kart
 • Super Paper Mario
 • Twilight Princess
 • Pro Evolution 2008
 • Chocobos Dungeon
 • Resident Evil 4
 • Boom Blox
 • Blast Works
I dunno, but those are all very good games, at least worth a look(and I'm sure I forgot something). Now to the TC, if you are selling a 360 for a Wii I wouldn't do it. Buy a Wii, keep the 360, and you got yourself a great combo right there.
No do not sell the 360. Keep it over Wii. But if you have extra money go ahead and get one, but to me it kinda feels like a downgrade...:?
If you like the games then yes, get it ASAP. Just don't expect to be playing tons of shooters like on the 360.
have fun playing a less fun, gimmicky ya i said gimmicky, dumbed down version of the force unleashed. Honestly the wii failed.
The Force Unleashed is out for Wii already? Really?
Don't do it if you have to sell your 360 for it. If you can just sell some games, then go for it. It's got some great games, like zelda and resident evil. You just gotta find them.
Might as well, i don't think there will be a price drop for a long time.
Sorry for not making it clear enough. I'm never gonna sell my 360 because Gears of War 2 is on it, and Fable, and Fallout. And thanks for all the comments because now i'm pretty sure i'm getting one. But I think I can only get 1 or 2 games. If that's so, for sure I'm getting Metroid Prime 3, because i've beaten the other ones already, and I can borrow Galaxy form my neighbour. So i'm set. Thanks again.
The Wii is a child's system. (13 and under) There are a few games older players would like (Metroiod, Zelda) but most of them are for really young players. I feel embarrased to play my Wii most of the time. Keep your 360. It's an all-around better system and Wii's online is basically non-existant.
